RSVP for Appointments
When you create an appointment with the RSVP feature, you can ask attendees to respond whether they will attend the appointment or not.
You can check who is attending the appointment on the "List of RSVPs" screen.
When attendees reply to the RSVP, only the creator of the appointment receives the notification. Notifications are not sent to users other than the creator.
You may not be able to use the RSVP feature, depending on the settings configured by your system administrator. For details, refer to Allowing Users to Use the RSVP Feature.
Responding to the RSVP
You can respond to an appointment with RSVP.
Responding from the "Appointment Details" Screen
From the "Appointment details" screen, you can respond to the RSVP.

Display an appointment to respond to the RSVP.
- To view from the scheduler:
- Click the app icon in the header.
- Click Scheduler.
- On the "Scheduler" screen, click the title of the appointment with the icon of .
- To display from the "Notifications" portlet:
- In the "Notifications" portlet, click You have N appointments with pending status.
The appointments with the pending status will appear.
The appointments whose end times are greater than or equal to the current time are displayed. If appointments do not have end times, the appointments whose start times are greater than or equal to the current time are displayed. - In the "Received RSVPs" on the "List of RSVPs" screen, click the title for the appointment you want to respond.

On the "Appointment details" screen, enter your message then click Accept or Decline.
You can click Accept or Decline without entering your message.
If you select "Decline", the appointment will not appear on your "Scheduler" screen.
Responding Through the "List of RSVPs" Screen
Through the "List of RSVPs" screen, you can respond to RSVPs.
You can respond to all RSVPs that you have not yet responded to.

Display the "List of RSVPs" screen.
- To view from the scheduler:
- Click the app icon in the header.
- Click Scheduler.
- On the "Scheduler" screen, click List of RSVPs.
- To display from the "Notifications" portlet:
- In the "Notifications" portlet, click "You have X RSVPs not yet responded to".

In the "Received RSVPs" on the "List of RSVPs" screen, click Change for the appointment you want to respond.
If you click "List of RSVPs" on the "Scheduler" screen, all appointments with RSVPs that you have been requested to attend are displayed.
When you click "You have X RSVPs not yet responded to" in the "Notifications" portlet, the appointments with RSVPs that you have been requested to attend but you have not sent your responses for are displayed.
The appointments whose end times are greater than or equal to the current time are displayed in the list. If appointments do not have end times, the appointments whose start times are greater than or equal to the current time are displayed. -
Select Accept or Decline, enter your message, then click Save.
You can click Accept or Decline without entering your message.
If you select "Decline", the appointment will not appear on your "Scheduler" screen.
Confirming RSVPs
You can check appointments with RSVPs that you have received and the status of attendee responses to appointments with RSVPs you have created.
Confirming from the "Appointment Details" Screen
Check the status of attendee responses for RSVPs in the "Appointment Details" screen.

In the "Notifications" Portlet, click the title of the appointment where the "Responded to RSVP" is displayed.

On the "Appointment details" screen, click "RSVP details" in the "Attendees" field.
If a new response has been added, "( Updated)" is displayed on the right of "RSVP details". -
On the "RSVP details" screen, check the status and messages of the attendees of the appointment.
Confirming from the "List of RSVPs" Screen
On the "List of RSVPs" screen, you can check appointments with RSVPs that you have received and also the status of attendee responses to appointments with RSVPs you have created.

Click the app icon in the header.

Click Scheduler.

On the "Scheduler" screen, click List of RSVPs.

Confirm the status on the "List of RSVPs" screen.
Only the appointments having future end time are displayed on the "List of RSVPs" screen. If appointments do not have end times, the appointments whose start times are greater than or equal to the current time are displayed.
By clicking "Filter", you can filter the appointments using your responses.- To check the status of your responses for RSVPs:
In "Received RSVPs", check the status of your responses.
All appointments with RSVPs that you have been requested to attend are displayed. - To check the status of attendee responses to appointments you have created:

Click RSVPs arranged by me.

In "RSVPs arranged by me", confirm the status of attendance.
The number in the "Responded" is "The number of users who have responded/The number of all attendees".
By clicking the link of the number in the "Responded" column, you can check the status of attendee responses and messages in the "RSVP details" screen.
- To check the status of your responses for RSVPs:
Changing the Date and Time of an Appointment with RSVP
Change the date and time of an appointment with RSVP.

Click the app icon in the header.

Click Scheduler.

On the "Scheduler" screen, click the title of the appointment with RSVP for which you want to change the date and time of the appointment.

On the "Edit appointment" screen, change the "Date and time" field.

Confirm your changes and click Save.

On the "Confirmation of changing RSVP" dialog, you can set whether to reset attendees' RSVP responses.
- When you want to keep the RSVP responses:
Clear the checkbox for "Reset attendees' RSVP responses" and click Save. The attendees' RSVP responses are taken over and only the date and time of the appointment will be changed. - When you want to reset the RSVP responses:
Select the checkbox for "Reset attendees' RSVP responses" and click Save. If you reset the RSVP responses, responses from all attendees will become "Pending". The attendees need to check the new date and time and respond to the RSVP.
