PDF Preview Feature

This section describes how to display PDF files on the preview screen.
With the preview feature, you can check the content of a PDF file before downloading it.

The PDF preview feature is available in the following applications.

Space
Scheduler
Messages
Bulletin Board
Cabinet
E-mail
Workflow
MultiReport

Steps:

Select an application that can use the preview feature.
On the screen with a PDF file attached, click Preview.

In Cabinet, you can also display a preview screen by clicking to the right of the title.
On the preview screen, review the PDF content.
You can download the file you are viewing by clicking Download at the top of the preview screen.

Note

Browsers that support the preview feature are Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, and Google Chrome.
In the following cases, you cannot use the PDF preview feature, so you need download a PDF file to view its contents.
- The file format of the attachment is not PDF.
- The size of the PDF file exceeds 20MB.
  The Preview button does not appear.
- The PDF file is password-protected.
  Clicking the Preview button shows an error screen.
- OCR-processed PDF file contains non-ASCII characters.
  Non-ASCII characters (including Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese) may not be displayed correctly.
- The MIME type for the file extension ".pdf" has been changed or deleted by the system administrator.
