Upgrade

Direct upgrade to Garoon version 5.15 is supported only from versions 5.x.x.
If you are using Garoon prior to version 5.0, upgrade it to version 5.0 first, then upgrade it to 5.15.

Note

The upgrade may take a long time depending on the amount of data, usage conditions, and the performance of the server running Garoon. It is recommended to check the time required for the upgrade in the test environment before upgrading the production environment.

With Garoon version 4.0.0 or later, you cannot use Cybozu Garoon 3 Reminder. After you upgrade Garoon to version 4.0.0 or later, you must use Cybozu Desktop 2.

If you upgrade Garoon to version 5.15 in the environment where the Full Text Search Server is currently in use, the Full Text Search Server must also be upgraded to version 2.0.3 or later. The following table describes the supported combinations of Garoon versions and Full Text Search Server versions:

The following Power Up Kit series cannot be used with Garoon version 5.0.0 or later.
- Power Up Kit Series Workflow Paper Layout for Garoon
- Power Up Kit Series Workflow External Database Connector for Garoon
- Power Up Kit Series Multi-Company for Garoon
If you have used Garoon 4.0.x, 4.2.x, or 4.6.x, upgrading to Garoon 5.15.0 may fail. To confirm that Garoon you are using is affected by this issue, please consult with our official partner.
