Client Certificate Authentication is a paid optional service that allows you to use cybozu.com from IP addresses that are not allowed to connect.Issue a client certificate in cybozu.com and install it on a device.

Even when you have configured IP address restrictions, you will be able to access cybozu.com from the following networks.

• The source IP address changes dynamically such as accesses from a smartphone.
• Anonymous users share the network such as using the shared office or public wireless LAN.

If you use cybozu.com with Client Certificate Authentication, ".s" is appended to the URL.

With Client Certificate Authentication

Without Client Certificate Authentication

If you log in to cybozu.com using Client Certificate Authentication, a URL for Client Certificate Authentication (with ".s") will be generated from a URL without it. As a result, users using Client Certificate Authentication can access cybozu.com with the same URL, even when accessing while on business trips or working remotely.

Upon expiration of the contract period for Client Certificate Authentication, you cannot use Client Certificate Authentication even if your client certificate is still valid.
You can start using Client Certificate Authentication again by renewing your contract during the grace period (until 30 days after the expiration date).

After the grace period, the client certificate used for this service becomes invalid permanently. In that case, you need to renew the Client Certificate Authentication contract and reissue a client certificate.
