Changing Department Hierarchy

This page describes how to change hierarchical structure of departments.

Changing Parent Department

  1. Click the gear-shaped menu button in the header.

  2. Click Users & System Administration.

  3. Click Departments & Users.

  4. Click the gear-shaped icon on the department whose parent department you want to change.

  5. Click Change Department Information.

  6. Click the tree icon in "Parent Department", and expand the tree to select a department.

  7. Select a parent department.
    To configure a top-level department as the parent department, select "(Root)".

  8. Click Save.

Adding Child Departments

  1. Click the gear-shaped icon on the department to which you want to add a child department.

  2. Click Add Child Department.

  3. Enter the values such as department name and department code.

  4. Click Save.
