Changing department hierarchy

This page describes how to change hierarchical structure of departments.

Changing parent department

  1. Access Administration.
    Accessing Administration

  2. Click Departments & users.

  3. On the department whose parent department you want to change, click the gear-shaped icon.

  4. Click Change department information.

  5. Click the tree icon in "Parent department", and expand the tree to select a department.

  6. Select a parent department.
    To configure a top-level department as the parent department, select "(Root)".

  7. Click Save.

Adding child departments

  1. On the department to which you want to add a child department, click the gear-shaped icon.

  2. Click Add child department.

  3. Enter the values such as department name and department code.

  4. Click Save.
