What to Do When Users Forget Their Passwords

Although Users & System Administrators manage user profiles, they cannot check users' current passwords.
Users & System Administrators must set new passwords by following the procedure described below, and notify users of new passwords.

Open the Users & System Administration screen as a user with administrative privilege, and select Departments & Users.

Click Edit User icon for the user for whom you want to set a new password.

Click Change Password.

Set a new password.

  • Generate automatically: Use the automatically generated string as a new password.
  • Enter manually: Use the password that administrator entered as a new password. You can enter a new password.

Notify the user of the new password to see if the user can log in using that password.
By clicking Save and Send via E-mail, you can easily send the new password by E-mail.
