Reordering Favorite Apps

You can reorder apps you have added to your Favorites.

You can display a list of apps you have added to your Favorites by selecting Favorite Apps in the Apps section on Portal or the Quick Access Menu. Apps in this list can also be arranged in your order of preference. For instance, you can move the most frequently used ones to the top of the list for easier access.

Note that, apps you have newly added to your Favorites are added to the bottom of the Favorite Apps list.

The following are the steps to reorder apps in the Favorite Apps list.

On Portal, click the drop-down list in the Apps section, and then click Edit at the right of Favorite Apps.
The "Settings for 'Favorite Apps'" dialog will appear.
Drag and drop the arrow icon at the left of each app to reorder the apps, then click Save.

Note

When you hover over the row for an app on this dialog, Remove from Favorites appears at the right end of the row. If you click Remove from Favorites and then Save, the app is removed from your Favorites and the Favorites Apps list.

Tips

Favorite apps and the ordering of the apps in the Favorite Apps list are set up by individual users. It is not possible for administrators to apply the same setting to all users.
If you are an administrator and want to make it easier for users to access frequently used apps, consider attaching the apps or inserting bookmarks for them in the Announcement section of Portal or spaces.

The Recently Opened Apps list displays up to 50 of the apps you have recently opened. You can use this list when you want to use again an app you have recently opened.
The All Apps list displays all apps in name order. Establishing an app naming convention (e.g., adding sequential numbers or common characters to the beginning of the app name) beforehand helps you keep the apps in the All Apps list organized.
