Deleting the Sales CRM Pack using the Bulk Deletion feature

To use the "Bulk Deletion Feature" and delete all the three apps that are included in the Sales CRM Pack, follow the steps below.

  1. Open one of the apps that are included in the Sales CRM Pack.
  2. Click the App Settings icon (the gear-shaped icon at the upper right of the "View" screen), select the App Settings tab, and then select Delete This App.

    Opening the "App Settings" Screen
  3. Click Delete This App on the confirmation screen.
  4. If the confirmation screen opens again, click Delete App.

A dialog saying "An app(s) that refers to this app was found" will appear. This dialog indicates that the app is directly referencing two other apps in the Sales CRM Pack. If there is any app that refers to those two apps (indirect reference), that app is also displayed.
  5. After confirming that deleting all of the displayed apps will not cause any issues, click Delete Multiple (***) Apps Using Bulk Deletion Feature.
  6. Click Delete Apps on the confirmation screen.
The apps are deleted all together.

Deleting only specific apps

If there is any app that directly refers to the app to be deleted, you cannot delete that app independently.
To independently delete an app that is included in the Sales CRM Pack, you need to remove its reference relationship with other apps.

Other apps and fields that have reference relationship with the app to be deleted are automatically detected at the time of the deletion of the app. The following describes how to navigate from the reference detection screen to the App Settings of the app that contains references and then remove the references.

  1. If the "An app(s) that refers to this app was found" screen appears when you tried to execute app deletion, click Remove References Manually.
Image The "Remove References Manually" screen is displayed, and apps and fields that directly refer the app to be deleted are shown.
  2. Click on the link displayed on the "Remove References Manually" screen to move to the app settings.

  4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 to remove all references.
  5. Navigate to the app settings of the app you want to delete, and click Delete This App under Deletion on the App Settings tab, and try deleting the app again.

If an error message appears when you try to delete an app

If an error appears when you click Delete Apps, you may not have permission to manage one of the apps in the Sales CRM Pack, or other apps that refer to the those apps.

Error example:
Cannot delete the app. A field in the app has been referred from a Lookup field "***" in an app "***". Change the "***" field setting or delete the field itself in "***". An error displayed when a user tried to delete an app

In such a case, perform one of the following actions:

  • Ask the administrator of the app specified in the error message to delete the "Lookup" or "Related records" field that is causing the error.
  • Ask the administrator who has administrative permission for both the app to be deleted and the app specified in the error message to carry out the deletion.
