The kintone screen response is slow
Depending on your app's settings, data registered in it, and its use conditions, kintone screen response may slow down.
This article describes some of the common factors that affect the screen response time. Note that the response time may be affected by a combination of multiple factors.
-
The app has a large number of records
Although there is no upper limit on the number of records that can be created in an app, the more the number of records in an app, the larger the data size will be; and as a result, the screen response may slow down.
If the number of records in your app has grown, consider taking some actions, such as splitting the app into several apps.
-
A large number of fields are placed on the app form
Although up to 500 fields can be placed on an app form, the more the number of fields placed on an app form, the larger the data size will be; and as a result, the screen response may slow down.
If there are many fields placed on the app form, check if there are any unnecessary fields that can be deleted, or consider taking some actions, such as splitting the app into several apps. Placing a "Field group" field on the app form and moving some fields into it may improve the screen response time.

A table in a record contains a large number of rows
The more the number of rows in a table in a record, the larger the data size of the record will be; and as a result, the screen response may slow down.
If the number of rows in a table has increased, consider taking some actions, such as splitting the app into several apps.
-
A large amount of data is stored in "Rich text" fields
Data registered in "Rich text" fields is saved as HTML. Thus, their data size tends to be larger compared to that of other fields. Depending on the data registered in the fields, the screen response may slow down.
-
Complex permissions are configured
When complex permissions are configured, the screen response may slow down.
Check to see if it is possible to put together several permission conditions. For instance, in the scenario where permissions are configured for multiple users, check if you can use a group or department to specify these users together. Also, check that there are no unnecessary permissions configured.
-
Complex filter conditions are set for views
Although there is no upper limit on the number of filter conditions that can be set for each view, setting complex filter conditions may slow down the screen response. In particular, the screen response time is liable to be affected in the following cases:- Multiple filter conditions that use Contains or Does not contain are set
- Fields of a large data size are specified as filter or sort conditions
-
Your kintone is under a heavy access load
The screen response may slow down when there are too many user access requests in a period of time. The screen response time is liable to be affected especially when access requests are concentrated on apps of a large data size or apps with complex settings.
