Using Client Certificate Authentication

Client Certificate Authentication permits access from the devices with client certificates installed while simultaneously restricting access based on source IP addresses.
Client Certificate Authentication is useful for the following cases:

  • When you use cybozu.com on your smartphone, or your source IP address changes dynamically (due to remote work, for example).
  • When you access from the IP address shared by many other anonymous users (shared office or public wireless LAN, for example).
